Is your Supply Chain ready for Agentic AI?
There is a lot of hype in the market to implement Agentic AI for supply chains. Many companies have taken the plunge with results often falling short of expectations. Let’s analyze why it happens.
Agentic AI works best when the underlying supply chain processes have been designed well. Is the supply chain driven by consumer demand? Have we improved flexibility in backend operations? Have we worked on improving responsiveness? Do the processes and performance metrics support agility?
If we deploy Agentic AI without first redesigning and improving agility of the supply chain, the benefits will be marginal. Real breakthrough comes when we use Agentic AI to make the supply chain even more agile in meeting the evolving demand patterns.
